Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are sorry, but pets are not allowed to stay at our property.
  • We have cottages for up to 4 guests and up to 6 guests. Children are counted in the total number of guests regardless of age. Infants (2 years old and under) may share a bed with an adult instead of being counted as a separate bed user.
  • For reservations, we only accept advance credit card payment (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners). For on-site shopping and paid activities, you can charge the fee to your room or use cashless payment (credit cards and electronic money). Please note that we do not accept cash payments.
  • In addition to the meals included in your plan, we offer a variety of beverages for purchase (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic), as well as amenities such as shampoo and conditioner, body soap, a skin-care set (toner, lotion, face wash and cleanser), toothbrushes, razors, combs, cotton & hair tie sets, body towels and slippers. We do not provide pajamas or roomwear, so please bring your own. From around September to May, mornings and evenings can be quite chilly, so we recommend bringing a warm outer layer. (On many days, the temperature here is more than 5°C lower than in the city.)
  • For infants and young children (0–5 years old, without meals or bedding), we charge a facility fee of 1,500 JPY per child. This includes additional amenities for children, participation in certain activities, and larger portions for some food experience menus.

Parking

  • Yes, we have a dedicated parking lot for Nature Live Rokko. Please note that spaces are limited, so please let us know in advance when making your reservation.

General Information

  • Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Please note that from 11:00 to 15:00, guests are not allowed to enter any areas of Nature Live Rokko due to cleaning of the cottages and facilities.
  • No. Due to the mountainous terrain, slopes, and stairs, the property may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
  • They are available until 21:30.
  • Yes.
    On-site payments can be made by credit card or electronic money only. Please note that cash is not accepted.
  • Yes, staff are on-site 24/7.
  • At 22:00, some of the facility lighting will be turned off/dimmed.
  • We will collect trash generated on the property. Please separate your trash as indicated on the labels of the trash bins in the cottages and around the facility.

Rooms

  • For fire safety reasons, we do not allow stays that exceed the maximum occupancy. Please note that children are also included in the total number of guests. Only infants (1 year old and under) may share a bed with an adult.
  • Yes. Wi-Fi is available in each cottage and at the front desk. We will provide the Wi-Fi ID and password at check-in.
  • Each cottage is equipped with air conditioning, a small refrigerator, AC power outlets, a bathroom (with a bathtub), a kitchen sink, and a toilet with a bidet (washlet). Drinks stocked in the refrigerator are available for you to enjoy freely during your stay.
  • Yes. Each cottage has a bathroom where you can enjoy the view, and each also has one toilet with a bidet (washlet).

Dining

  • We sell snacks and drinks at the Night Bar. Please feel free to stop by the front desk. Items are available for purchase until 21:30.
  • Additional drinks can be purchased until 21:30.
  • For food safety reasons, we do not allow guests to bring their own food or ingredients. However, baby food for weaning infants is allowed.
  • We do offer drinks for purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please note that each cottage refrigerator has limited space.
  • No, we do not provide lunch.
  • For both dinner and breakfast, our staff will serve your meal either on the 2nd-floor terrace of your cottage or in the living room inside your cottage.
  • Dining is limited to the maximum occupancy of each booking (either 4 guests or 6 guests). Even if you are staying as a family, dining with a group that exceeds the maximum occupancy is not allowed for safety reasons.
  • Each cottage terrace has a roof, so you can enjoy outdoor dining even in the rain. However, in cases of heavy rain or strong winds, we may serve meals indoors.
  • For infants and young children (0–5 years old, without meals or bedding), the facility fee you pay includes items such as additional portions for some food experience menus.
  • At this time, we cannot provide meals that are completely free of allergens. If you have food allergies, please contact us in advance when making your reservation. For guest safety, we may not be able to provide food and beverages depending on the situation. Thank you for your understanding.

Reservations & Cancellations

  • We accept reservations for two guests or more.
  • Cancellation fees are charged as follows:
    ・8–14 days prior: 5%
    ・2–7 days prior: 10%
    ・1 day prior: 50%
    ・Same day or no-show: 100%
    Cancellations made before the above period are free of charge. Please note that cancellation policies may vary depending on the plan. Please check the cancellation policy shown at the timeofbooking.
  • Due to meal and cottage preparation, we ask that you make your reservation by the day before.
  • Even if you wish to cancel due to weather, our standard cancellation policy will apply. However, if a disaster warning/advisory is issued by the authorities, or if we determine that we cannot ensure the safety of guests and staff, the cancellation fee will be waived.
