Into the Forest

FOREST PLAY

Split the trees of Rokko and light the fire yourself.
Time outdoors taken seriously.
After dark, slow down around the flames.

While the sun is up

Day Activity

Cut a Rokko log, light a fire with that wood, and roast your coffee beans over it.
Tree to fire, fire to food — carried through by your own hands.
Taking the outdoors seriously turns every hour of it into something you keep.

Two-person sawing

Cut through a Rokko log with a saw big enough to need both of you.
Splitting firewood

Take a real axe to the logs you just cut.
Building a fire

Light a fire, then use it — for sweets and for coffee.
Toasted over wood you split yourself, and brewed from beans roasted in your own flames, they taste like nothing you can buy.
Woodcraft

Make something of your own from Rokko timber.
It sits on your table at home and brings the trip back with it.

After dark

Night Activity

Gather around the fire, watch the flames move, and mix each other a drink after dinner.
Once the family evening winds down, the night bar is there for whoever is still awake.
A large, warm fire, and a night that brings people closer.

Marshmallows over the fire, too, if the mood takes you.

In the clear air at 800 meters, even the shadows inside the moon’s craters come out sharply — detail the naked eye never reaches.
