Cooked Over the Fire
Local ingredients used in full, and a professional beside you so that anyone can finish a dish beautifully.
The surprise of “I actually made this” — and the pleasure of making it together — is the best seasoning there is.
Dining, designed as entertainment.
Food, and how to enjoy it
Our Approach
-
The best of Kobe, at its best moment
Kobe beef, and seasonal produce grown here in Kobe and on Rokko. We choose ingredients that stand on their own and cook them slowly over an open flame — which is exactly why the plate in front of you can only exist here.
-
Firelight and stars, the finest seasoning
The clear air of Rokko, flames moving in front of you, a full sky overhead. The setting itself does as much for the food as the cooking does. No timetable to keep — just your own pace.
Dinner at Dusk

Crisp seasonal vegetables, bright seafood, and generous cuts of Kobe beef.
Carefully sourced seasonal ingredients, taken from prep to plate with your glamping attendant guiding the way.
The making of it is half the pleasure.
*Dinner runs about two hours, as you cook and eat course by course.
-
17:30 – 19:00Kobe beef and seasonal produce, grilled over the fire

-
AnniversaryBirthdays and anniversaries

Bar time around the fire
Night Bar
After dark, the fire pit area becomes a night bar.
Gather around a fire pit built from 300-year-old zelkova, glass in hand, and talk the evening away.
A special whisky made with spring water from Mt. Rokko, cocktails, alcohol-free options and small plates are all on the list.
Just ask your glamping attendant.
*Bar drinks are charged separately.
*Available year-round, though the bar may be changed or closed without notice in poor weather.
-

An unhurried morning with the people you came with.
*Breakfast takes about an hour.
-
7:00 – 9:00A plate worth waking up on the mountain for
Breakfast in clear morning air, with last night’s fire still faintly in the air and the view wide open. Homemade bread, and warm dishes built around local ingredients.
